Thursday 19-11-09:
09.30:
I striped away the last day on my 6-weeks-long calendar which tells me how long it will take before I see my girlfriend again, jumped out of bed and into the shower, checked a final time whether I really, really, réálly had everything, and sprinted our of my house to catch the train to the airport.
12.53:
I was on the train
14.00:
I caught the bus and was driven to the airport
14.25:
I arrived at the airport with a small delay, ran out of the bus and into the airport, where I forgot to get my boardingpass and was already at the security-bleeping-machines, when I was told I still had to get my boardingpass -_-' So back to get that bloody thing, back in line, through security, and then I waited for my flight
15.45:
My flight arrived and the gate opened, so I got in line - yet again - and got on board
16.15:
My plane left and I with it
16.15:
I landed. Yes, I am perfectly aware of the fact that I left Holland and arrived in England at the same time
I got off my plane at 16.30, ran through Gatwick Airport to Gatwick trainstation, got myself a trainticket and went to my train.
16.40:
I was on the train to Portsmouth, where I texted my parents, parents-in-law and lovely girlfriend I landed safely and was on my way, and then waited impatiently for about an hour and a half until we fínally called at Portsmouth.
18.10:
I ARRIVED!!!!
And then I walked down the stairs of portsmouth station, I saw my wonderful and most beloved girlfriend waiting for me...
We walked to her place, where we had pizza, and I gave her the gifts I bought and made her for our 1-year-anniversairy and for the fun of it
As for the rest of our night... well... *dotdotdot*
Friday 20-11-09:
06.45:
My love had to work a few hours in the morning, so I woke up from her leaving the bed. I wished her a goodmorning and goodluck at work, and when she left I fell asleep again.
11.45:
I woke up again, read a bit in my book and listened to my mp3player until my lovely Sheila came home at 12.30
We - well, I
16.00:
We were at the cinema, watching "New Moon" - which is a good movie
18.30:
The movie was done
Saturday 21-11-09
14.something:
We got out of bed to take a shower and such. That we were awake looong before that time is none of your business, and neither is what we filled all this extra time with
It was a veeeery rainy day that day, and although Sheila still had to do some shopping which we had planned for today, we decided to stay in.. We just had breakfast, chatted a bit with one of Sheila's housemate's, went back up to uhm... dotdotdot
20.00
We went for food. Fish&Chips, which is DELICIOUS!
Sunday 22-11-09
We both don't know anymore at what time we got up, but it was probably very late
15.00
We arrived at Asda, which is huge and mega and holy
after that, we went home again, made lasagna (get addicted to it
Monday 23-11-09
07.00:
We got up, took a shower and got dressed, and had cereals for breakfast. After that we made some sandwiches, packed our stuff, because we were going to London today!
08.44:
We were at the busstop, being left behind by the bus. I am not kidding; the bus really just left us behind -_-' We had to wait till 09.02 before the next one did pick us up and we were out of the cold and the rain
09.30:
We ariived at Portsmouth Harbor, where we got out to catch our next bus: the Greyhound Bus.
09.45:
The Greyhound Bus arrived and we got in. For those who don't know, the Greyhound Bus is GREAT, and therefore we renamed it; it is now called "The Epic Bus Of Awesomeness"
10.00 the bus left, with us in it, thank god
12.15:
The bus arrived at London Victoria, a bit later than planned because of the traffic, and we got out and started to find our way
At first we bought some drinks and candy at the nearby supermarket, and the Sheila tried buying a new SD-card, but that one didn't work either, so she returned it, got a refund, and bought 2 disposable cameras
Quite soon we found ourselves in Camden Town, which was AWESOME! So much pretty clothes....
After that we went back to the tube and found our way back to Victoria, and found our way to Harrod's by bus - and we got hopelessly lost xD I now know Harrods is réálly big and that you really have to mind where you walk, because if you don't - like we did - you go in on one side of the building and come out at the other, without knowing where you are or how you got there xD
Unfortunately after that, it was nearly 18.00 and at 19.00 we had the Greyhound Bus back, so we had to head back to London Victoria..
at 19.00, we were back in the bus, where we quite easily dozed off into a light sleep again, until we arrived at Portsmouth Harbour again and had the bus back home.
20.15:
We arrived back at our homey busstation, and actually we wanted to go for aother Fish&Chips, but the stpre was already closing, so we just went home.
Halfway we had an encounter with an unexpected neighbor; a fox. Although it did't come any closer and was obviously on it's guard, it didn't run away from us curious humans aswell - it was very cool
At home we made fries and rösti's, ate it, and packed my bag, for the next morning I'd have to go back to Holland... a very depressing thought, that we tried to repell with... noneofyourbusiness ^^
Tuesday 24-11-09
07.30:
The alarmclock rang. We didn't want to get out, but we had to... so we did, had a shower, got dressed, had breakfast.. and then spend the time we had left as good as we could..
09.20:
We packed my stuff and walked to the trainstation, where we were waaay in time (last time we were too late, which made me miss my train ánd my flight..) and we waited for my train.. which came way too soon...<_> We said a quick goodbye, but it really hurt that I couldn't kiss my love goodbye anymore...<_>
My train-plane-bus-train-ride back? Don't even ask, it's not worth mentioning, I mostly spend it staring at nothing, trying to supress my tears.. and no, I am not exaggerating things.
Anyways, at 17.45 Dutch time I got back home, where I am now.. missing my love... having to miss her for 3 more weeks.. <_>
Anyways, apart from the leaving we had a very nice time
Anyways.. that was it - shorter than the last time maybe, but thats because I want to keep all the personal details for myself... ^^
